Head of Clinical Practice – 0.8 FTE (4 days), or part time or job share considered

This is a new post, formed at an exciting time of targeted growth, to enable the organisation to meet an increased demand for services. The successful applicant will lead on clinical practice across our therapy, counselling and support services. We are looking for an experienced professional with leadership and management skills, who has a therapeutic qualification to at least post-graduate diploma and at least five years therapeutic experience.


The Head of Clinical Practice is one of three senior roles in Safety Net which oversee all operations and business activities. The aim is to ensure the organisation produces the desired results in terms of its agreed vision, values, aims and objectives, and that it’s also fulfilling agreed contracts and funding requirements.


Base: Our head office is in Carlisle (the service covers North & West Cumbria). The post is remote working currently due to Covid-19, but it is expected the post holder will be in the head office two days per week when it is safe for staff to return to work.
